The nearby Mount Calisio is wonderful for woodland walks.
The location is close to the city but with a clearly suburban character, with all amenities (supermarkets, restaurants, bars, etc.) nearby.
Guests can stroll through the surrounding meadows and vineyards (the area is well known for its wine production).
Not far away is the Parco delle Coste, one of Trento‘s largest parks.
There are many viewpoints offering panoramas of the mountain setting and the city lights.
One place of particular interest is the Ponte Alto Gorge, or “Orrido”, a deep canyon carved into the rock by the waters of the river Fersina, site of some of Europe’s oldest dams, which have created two spectacular waterfalls.
